Compare And Contrast
Today I'm trying to explain the differences and the similateries between the book "Alien Alert in Seattle" by Gina D.B Clemen and the book " Missing in Sydney " by Andrea M. Hutchinson. These books have both similareties and differences.
First of all I want to mention about the similareties in the books.The author's language in these books are very easy to understand. Their word choice is understandable. Therefore, the readers do not have difficulty in understanding them. Also in both of the stories there are five important characters. The main characters are in different cities. "Lisa is in Sydney with her friends. " Page 6. Karen is in Seattle. " My name is Karen Nielsen and I'm fifteen years old. I'm tall and I have short red hair and green eyes. I live in Seattle, Washington." Page 10. Although the events are different the mystery the events caused are the same in both of the books. In Alien Alert in Seattle Mr. Kent is a mysterious person because he can look at the sun with naked eyes. "Everyone in class looked out of the window but the sun was very bright and it hurt are eyes. We turned away from the window but Mr. Kent did not looked directly at the sun. How strange I thought the sun does not hurt his eyes. " Page 14. In Missing In Sydney Lisa dissapeared after the party and she did not come to their room the next day. This is an other mystery. In addition to these similarities. Both of the books are absurbing so the readers do not get bored while they are reading the book.
Secondly, there are of course differences between the two books. The topics of the books are not similar. In Missing In Sydney there is an abducting story. On the other hand in Alien Alert in Seattle there is a topic related to aliens. In Missing In Sydney all of the characters are real but in the other book two of the characters are unreal they are aliens. Also the places and the times of stories are different. In Alien Alert the story happens in summer. " My story begins in August a month before school started. " Page 10. In Missing In Sydney the story happens in winter. " Amy we're going to the christmas party in Bondi Beach." Page 6. Also the author's of the novels are not the same but both of them have similar writing styles.
As a result, although there are differences and similarities between the novels I did not get bored in reading both of them.

Summary
ALIEN ALERT IN SEATTLE
Karen and friends at lunch at 12.30 in the cafeteria. Karen eats her lunch with Barbara and Walter Andrews, a sixteen years old boy. He is tall and has dark brown hair and dark eyes. He is a quiet boy and has not have many friends. His favorite subject are science and math and also he likes computers a lot. His parents divorces and he lives with his father and his cat, Tootsie.He often lonely because he never sees his mother and his father always at work. He loves Tootsie and spends a lot of time with her. After Karen, Walter and Barbara starts talk about their new teacher Mr. Wilkinson. Barbara says Mr Wilkinson so strange because when they looked at the airplane, the sun did not hurt his eyes. Suddenly, Karen asks " Did you hear Mr.Wilkinson's voice ? " Barbara and Walter says he's voice like robot and so cold therefore he is so unfriendly. Walter whisperes to Barbara and Karen says " Hey look over there look at what he's drinking ! There was a glass of green juice in front of him and on the table there is some blackpills." (Page 26) They looks Wilkinson's drink and it changes color Barbara and Karen so suprize. And Barbara says to Karen and Walter "And that's why he's so thin." The next morning during thw English lesson Mr Wilkinson starts ask them some personal question. Mr Wilkinson asks question to Walter his question is "Tell me something about yourself. " Walter says I like computers and my hobby is astronomy. " And then Mr. Wilkinson asks personal question to other students. Barbara, Karen and Walter realize now Mr Karen's eyes blue because they are different color now. Karen allows to Mr Wilkinson to go to bathroom. Because he needs think about that. Karen is surprise and a little bit scared. That afternoon Karen goes to Walter's home. They talk about Mr Wilkinson and about aliens. Walter says " Listen to this, Karen something very important is happening. A comet is passing through the Vingo constellotion. When a comet and a constellation meet, aliens can travel to our planet. Everything is right for intergalactic voyages." (Page 28) And after Walter says again I want to become an astronout because I curios about their. I want to go to another galaxy and perhaps meet aliens. Karen says slowly Mr Wilkonson is alien. But Walter does not believe him because he says to Karen " You read many science fiction books. He is not alien. Karen says " His voice does not sound human, his eyes change color and he has a very strange lunch. But now Walter does not believe because he is surprise how does his eyes change color ? And now they decides follow hi may be he will be able to alien......
I chose this picture because it's about my book's title and also it's subject. May be it can be proof but I say again In my opinion Aliens are not real. I do not belive them. I have not ever seen aliens. But some people claim they are real. But they are not I think. But I assumed that because I've been reading book about aliens. And also this picture related to my books subject. Therefore, I chose this picture. But I have not still believed them and we should not believe.

Summary
ALIEN ALERT IN SEATTLE
Karen Nielsen is fifteen years old. She is tall and she has short red hair and green eyes. She lives in Seattle, Washington. She lives in with his parents and his dog. Her dog's name is Tex. Tex is a brown and he is three years old. In her free time he likes playing volleyball, going rock climbing and listening to music. She has a big music collection and she love listenin to music with her friends. Her story begins in August. One morning, she has breakfast with her parents. Suddenly the newsreader says "Alien Alert ! Early this morning there was a report of an unidentified flying object near the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle. Two tourists saw a UFO in the sky above them. They said it was gray and round. They also said it didn't make any noise. Later this morning a high school teacher saw the same UFO flying above her house. The Seattle Police are investigating. " Karen surprises. A month later She goes back to high school. This is her second year at Washington High School. When she finishes school and university she wants to become chemist. She meets new friends and classmate, Barbara. She is a tall, pretty girl. She lives near her house and she always walks to school together. They talks with each other. And the teacher comes. His name is Mr Kent. His job science teacher. Barbara and Karen look at him. He is tall and quite slim. He has blond hair and brown eyes. Barbara says to Karen " We're lucky. " and Karen says too. At that time an airplane passes over school and makes a lot of noise. Everyone in class looks the window, but sun is so bright and they do not see anything. When Karen and Barbara look at Mr kent and says to Karen " How does he looks at Sun ? " They continious talk. Mr kent says open your literature books at page five. They realize his voice like a robot. He's terrible. But they do not have any idea....

I choice this video. Because its about aliens. May be it can be proof. And also we have many many proof about aliens. But, I've not still believed them. In my opinion UFO, alien, spirit, fairy... etc. theese are lie. Why don't we see ? Why do each others see ? Why dont we ? Therefore, I do not believe. And also this video is not true. Only people for believe them. We deceives. All we need to do we know that life goes on. Certainly one day confront us interesting things. We do not wonder about invisible thing or whatever. Because curiosity killed the cat.
